Marching Band

This was where I fell in love with high school band! Although we definitly were not the best marching band (not even close lol) it was so so fun to marching with everyone. I met some really awesome people in this band and the music we played was super fun. I do regret that we didn't march much and instead did the whole "park and bark" thing. But the style of marching did help me prepare for college band, which I start in a week.I marched on clarinet, bass clari, and soon baritone. Bass clari was by far the most difficult to march with but was so fun.

Indoor Percussion

I love this group so much. I played timpani for it for two years. We went to WGI in 2024 and met some amazing groups. Although we didnt make it to finals due to a timing point deduction, the experiance was great and I wish I had another year to do it all over again. If you see an indoor percussion group at your school, join it! You wont regret it! Here are our two shows, pandoras lament, and chaos order!

Concert Band

This used to be my favorite of all the bands, but I do like marching and jazz a lot more than I used to now. It was very fun to play differant types of music. In my high school band the pieces were eazy, and we played things like stevie wonder medleys or movie soundtracks most of the time. At All State we played more complex concert band music which was super fun. I loved being in a room with musicians who were just as into it as I was. I played clarinet and bass clarinet for all state over the years.

Jazz Band

Jazz!!! At my school we had a jazz class and an after school club. I was a part of both. Sophmore and Junior year were my favorite years, but senior year didnt feel the same without all the upperclassmen. It felt empty. But the music was fun!
